By booking or purchasing, you confirm that you are over 18 and fully understand the nature of the services provided. By using this Site, you also warrant that any information you provide is accurate, truthful, and up-to-date.

4. Scope of services

I provide the following services:

  • 1:1 coaching sessions, including somatic methods and trauma-informed support
  • Digital products (e.g., guides, checklists, e-books, courses)
  • Online workshops and group sessions
  • A blog on narcissistic abuse recovery
  • Affiliate links and product recommendations

My coaching sessions are designed to support individuals who have experienced narcissistic abuse and are seeking somatic tools for nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and boundary repair.

5. Coaching disclaimer

Somatic coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process designed to support personal growth and nervous system regulation. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or crisis intervention. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

If you are experiencing severe trauma symptoms, active dissociation, suicidal ideation, or other mental health crises, coaching is not appropriate for you at this time. You must seek support from a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, or emergency services.

If you are in immediate danger or distress, contact emergency services (111) or a New Zealand crisis
service such as 1737 or Lifeline (0800 543 354).

By using my services, you confirm that you are not relying on coaching as a substitute for professional medical or psychiatric care.

The information on this site is for educational purposes only and may not reflect the most current research. Always consult a qualified professional for medical, legal, or financial advice.

6. Client responsibility

By using my services or accessing my materials, you acknowledge the following:

  • You take full responsibility for your own healing journey and decisions.
  • Coaching is not a cure, nor a quick fix. It is a process that requires active participation and self-reflection.
  • You understand that results vary and are not guaranteed.
  • You are responsible for seeking additional support when necessary (e.g. legal, medical, or therapeutic).

7. Bookings and payment terms

I accept the following payment methods on my Site:

  • Credit card;
  • PayPal; and
  • Debit card.

When you provide me with your payment information, you authorise my third-party payment processors to charge the agreed amount. You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

I reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order or service if fraud is suspected or if your payment breaches any law or these Terms.

  • All services must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless a payment plan or alternative arrangement is explicitly offered and agreed upon.
  • Upon successful payment, you will need to make your booking via my Google calendar, provided in the confirmation email following your checkout process. Any relevant next steps will be communicated via email or your account.
  • Coaching sessions are available in limited quantities and require your commitment to scheduling and showing up on time.
  • Session expectations, timing, and responsibilities are outlined in your Coaching Agreement, which you’ll receive after payment.
  • All digital products (such as downloads or self-paced materials) are accessible immediately after purchase and are non-refundable once accessed [please see refund policy below, 8. Cancellations and refunds].

8. Cancellations and refunds

8.1 Statutory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or modifies any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Where you are acquiring coaching services or digital products for personal or domestic use in New Zealand, those laws apply and may provide rights and remedies that cannot be excluded by contract.

New Zealand law does not provide a general or automatic cooling-off period for coaching services or digital products. Any rights to cancel or receive a refund outside of statutory guarantees are governed
solely by these Terms.

These rights relate to how services and digital products are provided and described, and do not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

Any refund requests or concerns must be submitted in writing using the contact details provided on this website or email info@salltsisters.com.

8.2 Coaching services

Due to the personalised nature of coaching and the time commitment involved, coaching sessions are non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law. A coaching session is considered delivered once it has commenced at the scheduled time, whether or not you attend or remain for the full duration.

If a coaching service fails to meet the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (including reasonable care and skill, fitness for purpose, or delivery as agreed), you may be entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund, cancellation, or other appropriate remedy in accordance with that Act.

If you need to reschedule a coaching session, please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice by emailing: info@salltsisters.com.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or sessions not attended, are treated as delivered and are not refundable or eligible for rescheduling, except where required by law.

8.3 Voluntary money-back guarantee (goodwill policy)

In addition to your statutory rights, a voluntary money-back guarantee is offered as a gesture of goodwill.

If, after the first session of your purchased coaching package, you decide I am not the right coach for you, you may request a refund by emailing info@salltsisters.com within 24 hours of that session’s conclusion.

This voluntary guarantee:

  • Applies only to the first session of a coaching package
  • Does not apply to single-session purchases
  • Is separate from, and does not limit, your rights under New Zealand consumer law

Any refund issued under this voluntary guarantee will exclude non-recoverable third-party payment processing fees (typically 3-5% of the transaction), to the extent permitted by law.

8.4 Digital products

By purchasing a digital product, you consent to immediate access or download of that product. A digital product is considered provided once access credentials or download links are made available to you.

Once access or download has been provided, refunds are not available, except where required by New Zealand consumer law.

If a digital product does not comply with the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (including being of acceptable quality or matching its description), you may be entitled to a remedy in accordance with that Act.

9. Confidentiality and privacy

Your privacy and confidentiality are of the utmost importance. Everything you share during coaching sessions is treated with compassion, respect, and discretion. I will never share your personal information, stories, or session content with anyone, unless required by law (e.g., in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or when subpoenaed by a court).

Brief anonymous case information may be used for coaching supervision purposes.

Please note that while every effort is made to create a secure space, no communication via the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. By using this site and engaging in online sessions, you acknowledge this risk.

All personal data is handled in accordance with my privacy policy and applicable New Zealand data protection laws. The Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, stored, and used. By using this website and booking a session, you consent to this use of your data.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this Site—including but not limited to: text, images, logos, videos, downloads, digital products, blog articles, and course materials—is the intellectual property of Laura Corrales, Sallt Sisters unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, share, modify, or use any part of this content for commercial or non-personal use without written permission.

10.1 Licensed coaching methods

Proprietary methods (e.g., SELF Navigation Mapping™) are licensed from Caroline Strawson. Clients may not reproduce, share, or use these methods outside 1:1 sessions.

Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

These methods are designed for educational and experiential use only and do not replace therapy or clinical diagnosis.

11. Third-party tools and links

This website may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or platforms—including schedulers, payment processors, or external resources. These tools are provided “as is” and without any warranties. You acknowledge that I am not responsible for the content, availability, or performance of any third-party websites or services.

11.1 Affiliate disclosure

Some of the links on this Site may be affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission if you choose to make a purchase—at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products or programs I have personally used or vetted and genuinely believe in.

Use of any third-party tools or platforms is entirely at your own risk, and their respective terms and privacy policies apply.

11.2 Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

I may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support the creation, organisation, or refinement of educational content, resources, or materials provided through this website or as part of the Services.

Any content created with the assistance of AI tools is reviewed, edited, and curated by me prior to delivery to ensure accuracy, originality, and alignment with the purpose of the Services.

All final content, materials, and resources provided through the Services remain my intellectual property, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

I do not knowingly use AI-generated outputs that infringe third-party intellectual property rights. However, you acknowledge that AI-assisted content carries inherent limitations and risks, including the possibility of unintended similarities to existing works, and you agree that I am not liable for such similarities where there has been no intentional misuse.

Confidential client information, personal data, or proprietary information will not be entered into AI tools without your prior written consent. Any use of AI tools will comply with the confidentiality and
privacy obligations set out in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sallt Sisters and Laura will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

  • Emotional distress
  • Lost profits
  • Business interruption
  • Personal injuries
  • Loss of data or other intangible losses

This applies even if I have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Coaching is a personal development tool—not a guarantee of results—and your outcomes will depend on your unique situation and commitment to the process.

Nothing in this clause excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

13. Indemnity

By using this Site and my services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sallt Sisters, its owner (Laura), and any affiliates or partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Site or services;
  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions;
  • Any breach by you of your responsibilities as a coaching client.

You agree to use this Site and engage in services at your own discretion and risk.

14. Governing law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

15. Changes to these terms

I may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. By continuing to use this website and its services, you agree to the current version of these Terms.

16. Severability

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
